Our family feels very fortunate to be able to live in Fayette County, Texas, where the people are friendly, the bluebonettes cover the hills in springtime and the live oaks stay green all winter. Everyone in the family is involved in the artistic process. Most days you will find Cathy busy in the glass shop. After 10 years of working with glass, she focuses on creating new and exiting glass vessels and sculpture and continues to design her dichroic jewelry line. James gets warmed up at the forge in the blacksmith shop. His hand forged iron is the base for most of the glass sculptures. He also demonstrates the historical aspects of blacksmithing at every opportunity. Richard's love of nature has led him to spending many hours every day turning wood in the old smokehouse, which is now his wood shop. |
